Parents & Friends Community
Welcome to the Brighton Primary School community! Known as the Parents & Friends Community (PFC), we are the team responsible for organising engaging events throughout the year. These not only foster a sense of community but also play a crucial role in generating funds vital for enhancing our school's facilities. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of our community, we are able to contribute to many key projects and initiatives to make our school better.
Annually, the PFC organises a variety of events, including fun lunch sausage sizzles, mothers’ & fathers’ day events, a student lapathon fundraiser and a dad’s footy match.
Beyond these events, the PFC serves as a source of friendship and support for families who are new to the school.

Learning Snapshots
Our Snapshots are designed to provide you with regular updates about your child’s learning as well as what’s happening in the classroom. They may provide useful prompts for discussions at home.
Personalised Student Updates
Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families.
Communications and Payments
Compass is your ultimate digital companion to stay informed and connected. By logging into Compass you gain access to essential school updates as well as access features including: attendance tracking, progress reports, communication tools between teachers and parents, consent for excursions and payments.
Canteen
We partner with Fun Fresh Foods to operate and manage the Brighton Primary School Canteen. The canteen operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All orders must be placed online through the Fun Fresh Foods website. Additionally, students can purchase snacks over the counter during both Recess and Lunch.

Outside
School Hours Care
Team Kids is an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) company that specialises in providing high-quality, engaging, and educational programs for children outside regular school hours. Team Kids creates a supportive and enriching environment where children can thrive both academically and socially.
With a focus on safety, fun, and skill-building, Team Kids aims to complement the school experience by delivering a comprehensive and enjoyable OSHC service that aligns with the values and expectations of parents and schools alike.
Team Kids operates from 7:00 - 9:00 am and 3:30 - 6:30 pm and vacation care hours are 7:00 am - 6:30 pm in the Performing Arts venue at Brighton Primary School.

QKR: Your go-to app for easy parent payments
Think of QKR as your personal assistant for all things payments. Whether you’re ordering Funlunch or supporting fundraising events, QKR has got your back. It can also help with purchasing school uniforms and chip in for fundraising efforts with just a few taps on your phone.
Uniform Shop
At Brighton Primary School, our compulsory uniform in navy and sky blue is a proud symbol of our school spirit and community. Additionally, students proudly wear their designated house T-shirts on Sport and PE days, adding a touch of fun to their activities.
The house colours and names are: Yellow - Sorrento, Red – Lonsdale, Blue – Fairhaven, Green – Apollo.
Our uniform shop is located in the Performing Arts Centre and sells new and second-hand uniforms.
Opening hours are:
2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
